José Mandojana is an award winning commercial photographer based in Los Angeles whose work crosses multiple genres : portraiture, sports, lifestyle+travel, and automotive.
He studied photography at the Art Center College of Design after obtaining a B.S. in Biology/Pre-med from Emory University. He shifted career paths because of his many life interests mainly cultivated through extensive traveling at a young age . His parents were Argentine immigrants and his father was a physician for the US Army - this led to great exposure and appreciation for the complexities and the beauty of the world around him.
José strives to connect with his subject, clients, and creative/production teams by working collaboratively. He relishes the process of solving problems and crafting images that do not follow trends, but instead, that offer lasting impact. He has been fortunate to work for some of the best publications and brands, and he's truly thankful for the work that continues to be entrusted to him and his team.
